Major
consumer launch for mouth ulcers
Do

If you are one of the thousands of people who suffer from ulcers
regularly you may welcome the news that a new treatment is available
that speeds up the healing process and requires just one application.
Our client, the UK’s largest supplier of value medicines and
healthcare products Galpharm Healthcare, asked us to help with the
major consumer launch of the new Mouth Ulcer treatment.
Using our contacts on the national women’s magazines, we negotiated
a series of product trials, in Zest, Top Sante and Real magazine.
We also ran giveaways, competitions and reader offers in a number
of the women’s titles and secured features on Radio 5, Radio
2 and Talk Radio.
The media launch create a massive consumer response, with over 5000
product requests from the magazines and Galpharm Healthcare securing
distribution in Boots and all the major supermarkets.
“The hardest job was getting a panel of people together to
trial the treatment at the time they had an ulcer,” explains
Marina Wood of Dragonfly PR. “We held a media launch in London
and gave away product samples and press packs to all the health
editors and freelance health writers. The results in terms of national
press coverage were brilliant and it’s a great start to what
looks like becoming a brand leading product.”
