Anyone who visited the Meadowhall Shopping Centre this weekend may have seen the Young Enterprise students showing how you’re never too young to be an entrepreneur!

We were delighted to be involved in securing media interest for the event, which saw nine groups of students from across Yorkshire and Derbyshire challenged with setting up and running their own business in the UK’s largest shopping centre for the day!

Selling everything from Valentine’s Day cards to their own clothing ranges, personalised mugs and recycled gift bags, they did themselves proud – and raised a fair bit of money for their businesses at the same time!

The students deserved their 15 minutes of fame when the local press, radio and TV we had invited came up to interview them and proved that this region certainly has a bright future with young entrepreneurs like these!
